Hi, my name is Matej, and I am the face behind Bistronomy Barcelona, a private chef, and catering service in Barcelona.
I am a professionally trained chef with 20 years of hospitality experience. I have worked in boutique hotels such as The WITTMORE and MALMAISON, as well as Michelin-starred restaurants like Alkimia and Via Veneto, among others.
After two decades of working in highly regarded establishments, I wanted to embark on something new and exciting. Thus, I began offering dinner parties and freelance chef, private chef, and personal chef experiences, with an emphasis on friendly, warm, and professional service, along with delicious homemade food.
Currently, I host and cater for parties, holiday stays, villa and masia events, weddings, birthdays, hen dos, and retreats as a private chef in Barcelona, Castelldefels, Tarragona, Girona, and all surrounding areas.
